Jeannie’s lifelong passion is in the healing arts, such as Reflexology, Herbalist, Reiki Master, Energy healing, with experience for over 48 years.
Jeannie’s herbal study started at the age of eight, with the guidance from a well-known Pinelands Naturalist, Betty Woodford, who was very close friend of her parents. Jeannie’s knowledge stems from many directions, including tribal elders from the Lenni Lenape at the Rancocas Reservation, Louise Henry, Morning Dove, Loretta White , to the local “Piney’s of the Pine lands garden club” Janette Johnson, Jean Cornealson, Shirley Dobbs.
Jeannie also studied with many of the American Herabalist Guild teachers also such as SuSun Weed, Juliette de Bairacli Levy, Mimi Hernandez, Molly Stopper, David Winston,Richard Mendelbaum, Phillis Light, Jim McDonald, to name a few
She was taught the skills of the Sun, the Earth, The Moon and the Wind, using these gifts and tools she wild forages in the local fields, forest and back creeks of the Pine Barrens for the plants she needs to make herbal remedies.
Jeannie became a reflexologist in 1972, it was taught to her by her mother whom was a professional Reflexologist. Both she and her mother practice Eunice Ingraham method of Reflexology. Her Reiki experience and lessons also came into being at this time.
Jeannie and husband Jim are Blue ribbon winners for 15 years with the famous Philadelphia Flower Show, Jeannie is a retired Master Gardener, Historic reenactor and well know plant historian and author.
Jeannie is the Pres. Of the South Jersey Chapter of the American Herbalist Guild, and belongs to the National Seed Savers, Past Pres of the Pinelands Garden Club, many historical organizations, paranormal groups, and psychic groups. She loves traveling to share her knowledge by giving programs and workshops, work in herbal clinics, participating in herbal events and hanging out with herbal geeks! Jeannie’s true pride is being a wife, a mother and a grandmother to some amazing people.
